Homemade Apple Pie Easy Baking

There are many apple pies and we always like to create new ones, even more delicious, like this version served with salted caramel ice cream, a combination that recalls the flavors of the tarte tatin that we love so much.


Method,

1. Step 1

For the apple Pie recipe, peel the apples, remove the core and cut them into slices. Collect them in a bowl and sprinkle them with the juice of 1/2 lemon.

Step 2

Beat the eggs with the brown sugar, then add the flour, the vanilla seeds, then the milk and melted butter. Set aside about 150 g of apple slices for the decoration of the final layer, and pour the mixture over the other apples, mix gently, so that the apple slices are uniformly "coated" with the egg, milk and flour mixture.

Step 3

Pour the mixture into a Springform pan (ø 20 cm). Arrange the apple slices kept aside on the surface on a regular basis, to obtain a more pleasant aesthetic effect. Bake the cake at 170°C for about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

Step 4

Serve it by completing it with salted caramel ice cream, a combination that recalls the flavors of the tarte tatin.

Step 5

To be recovered: boil the apple waste in 1.5 liters of water: then pour it, filtering, over 2 sachets of green tea scented with an aniseed star. Sweeten with a little honey. The empty vanilla pod, on the other hand, can be used to prepare custards: it is still very aromatic, despite having been deprived of the seeds. Alternatively, break it up and mix it in the sugar jar, which will give it a delicate scent.
