German flammkuchen roll recipe

Flammkuchen Roll. Puff pastry with a savory filling.


Ingredients,

1 roll(s) of Puff pastry from the refrigerated section

1 bunch spring onion(s) or 2 shallots or onions

1 pack of cream cheese or sour cream

150g Ham, raw or cooked

pepper, some Salt

Preparation,

Working time : 20 minutes

Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes

Total time about 25 minutes

Peel the onions and dice them together with the Ham. Mix with the cream cheese and season with a little salt and lots of pepper. You can also add a little herbs de Provence if you like.

Spread this mixture evenly over the spread-out puff pastry. Now carefully roll up the dough and cut into slices about 3 cm thick. Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

Place in the preheated oven at 180 °C for approx. 10 minutes - longer or shorter depending on the desired degree of browning.

We often serve these little delicacies hot or cold for brunch on Sundays. The rolls can also be taken to any party. You can change the topping at any time to suit your taste.
