It's popcorn on a stick! The beautiful caramel popcorn is formed into balls and served on a stick for a treat children of all ages will enjoy. The caramel in this popcorn stays soft and chewy, so you don't have to worry about the popcorn getting too hard or crunchy on these pops. You can always get creative and add other toppings to the popcorn, such as nuts, dried fruits or your favorite candies.

What do you need?

12 cups popcorn popped (about a 3 oz bag)

1/2 cup light corn syrup

1 1/4 cups brown sugar (packed)

1 teaspoon salt

4 tablespoons butter / 2 ounces butter

7 ounces Sweetened condensed milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

PROCESS,

1. Spray a big bowl with cooking spray and vicinity the popcorn withinside the bowl.

2. In a medium saucepan, integrate the Corn syrup, brown sugar, salt and butter. Stir till the butter and sugar melt, then upload the condensed milk. Bring the aggregate to a boil, stirring frequently, and insert a sweet thermometer.


3. Continue to cook the candy, stirring frequently, until it reaches 230 degrees F (43 C) on the candy thermometer.

4. Once at the proper temperature, remove the pan from the heat and pour the hot caramel over the popcorn. Stir until the popcorn is completely covered in Caramel.

5. Let the popcorn cool for a few minutes, until it is cool enough to handle comfortably, but still warm enough to mold.

6. Wet your hands slightly and take a handful of caramel popcorn. Press it between your palms until it is a round, compact ball that holds together. Insert a buffalo into the top of the popcorn ball.

7. Continue biting the popcorn into balls until all the popcorn is used. If hands start to get sticky, refill as needed.

8. If not serving immediately, wrap the popped popcorn individually in aging wrap or waxed paper and store in an airtight container at room temperature.
