How to make Banoffee
Delicious Banoffee
Ingredients
• 1 package of cornstarch Biscuits
• 100 g of margarine
• 2 cans of dulce de leche or 500 g
• 10 medium sliced bananas
• 1 cup (tea) of sugar
• 600 ml of fresh cream
• Cinnamon powder for sprinkling
Method of preparation
• Crush the biscuit in a blender, mix the margarine until it becomes a homogeneous mass and line a refractory.
• Place the dulce de leche on top of the base.
• In a pan melt the sugar in Caramel, throw 1/2 cup (tea) of water and let it make a syrup.
• Throw in the bananas and dip them in the caramel sauce for a few moments.
• Arrange the bananas on top of the dulce de leche layer.
• Whip the cream in a mixer with 1 tablespoon of sugar and the vanilla extract until it forms a whipped cream.
• Place over the bananas and sprinkle cinnamon powder.
• Freeze for three hours before serving.
Tip : The ideal for the Banoffee Pie is to cook the condensed milk in a pressure cooker for 30 minutes, so that the dulce de leche has a firmer consistency and the final result is not altered. The cream must be fresh, so that the recipe has much more flavor.
At the time of preparing the dough, to make it more consistent, it is important to leave the biscuit crumbs moist with butter, so that it does not fall apart after baking.
