5 meatballs
red cabbage as much as you want and conscience
pickled cucumbers , homemade cucumber salad is also perfectly fine
mayonnaise preferably homemade

Here's how you do it,
Heat your meatballs, red cabbage and sandwich buns.
Cut the meatballs lengthwise and split the sandwich buns with a bread knife.
Place red cabbage at the bottom of your sandwich, then meatballs and pickles. Top with a little mayonnaise and place the top part of the sandwich bun on top.
Meatball sandwich, a rustic delicacy
After all, a meatball Sandwich is actually something that mostly belongs in grill bars, festival stalls and restaurants with Danish food. In many cases with a slightly tarnished reputation.
I think that is simply deeply unfair, because it is made right, that is, with the universe's best meatballs, a good red cabbage , home-pickled cucumbers (or leftover cucumber salad ), a home-whipped mayonnaise and a proper bun (in this case a sourdough variant of the kind), then it is quite simply a delicacy. A rustic delicacy, preserved, but that's also okay.
