Easy Chicken Sandwich Recipe

 Chicken Sandwich

What do you need?

1 cup chicken (chopped, raw: a mix of dark and light would be best)

1 cup

whey

1/2 tbsp. hot sauce

1 cup of flour

1/4 tsp. salt

oil for frying

1 stick French bread

2 tablespoons of mayo

4 slices of tomatoes

8 dill chips

1/2 cup lettuce

plain salt (to taste)

Direction,

To nurse the baby. In a sealed container, add Buttermilk, hot sauce and chicken. Mix, seal and let sit. I think chicken retains the best texture and flavor at 48 hours, but 24 hours is still pretty good.

When you are ready to Make the sandwich, combine the flour and salt in a small bowl and mix. Heat up to 260 degrees. Meanwhile, remove the chicken nuggets from the brine, dredge them in the flour, dredge them back in the milk and then back in the flour. Allow the excess coating to fall off before adding it to the oil. Fry the chicken pieces for a few minutes until they are golden brown, Crispy and the meat is cooked. 

Cut off one-third of the Italian Bread and remove two-thirds from the bottom. Fill the gap with a little mayo, lettuce, tomato, chicken, pickles, and a little more mayo and a pinch of large flake salt if you have any. Add the top back and serve.
