Caprese Cake Recipe

Caprese Cake. A great classic of Campania cuisine, a real consolation for the senses, what you need to start the day with a smile.

Ingredients,10 people servings:

150g butter

150g gluten-free dark chocolate

130g gluten-free powdered sugar

100g almonds with skin

75g almond flour

4g baking powder for gluten-free cakes

4 pcs eggs

vanilla

potato starch ,salt

How to you make?

1. Step 1

For the caprese Cake recipe, turn on the oven at 170 °C; butter a cake tin (ΓΈ 22 cm) and sprinkle it with starch.

Step 2

Blend the almonds in the mixer together with the almond flour, not too long, turning off before the centrifugal force begins to extract the oil from the almonds.

Step 3

Whip the softened butter with the icing sugar and a pinch of salt until it becomes slightly frothy. Add the egg yolks, blended almonds, grated chocolate, baking powder and the seeds of 1/2 vanilla pod to the butter. Whip the egg whites until stiff and fold them into the mixture.

Step 4

Pour it into the cake tin and cook in the static oven at 180°C for about 45 minutes. Let the cake cool. Serve dusted with powdered sugar.
