Banana cake with chocolate recipe
Banana cake with chocolate
Ingredients
4 eggs
225 grams of sugar (preferably cane sugar)
150 grams of wheat flour
5 bananas (the more ripe the better)
150 grams of butter
80 grams of dark chocolate (70%)
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ tsp salt (fine)
Covering chocolate and hazelnuts
100 grams of dark chocolate (preferably 70%)
25 grams of butter
100 grams of hazelnuts
Here's how you do it?
Melt the butter and set it aside to cool a little.
Beat eggs and sugar until fluffy. Mix flour, salt and baking powder and sift in the egg mass - stir it together quietly.
Stir melted butter into the cake mix - make sure it's not scalding hot.
Mash your ripe banana with a fork and roughly chop the chocolate. Fold the mashed banana and the chopped chocolate into the cake mix - mix gently.
Grease a springform pan (mine was 28 cm wide) and put a piece of baking paper in it - pour the banana cake mixture into it. Bake the cake at 180 degrees for 50 minutes.
Let the cake rest and cool on a baking rack.
Covering chocolate and hazelnuts,
Break the chocolate into large pieces and melt it together with butter (I do it in a microwave) and spread or brush it on the cake.
Coarsely chop the hazelnuts and sprinkle them decoratively on the cake. I made a smaller circle.
Let your banana cake soak a little so that the chocolate hardens.
